Thank you for Making GradyFest3 So Great!
We thank you for coming to GradyFest III and trust that you had an excellent time with us this past weekend! Judging from the warm comments and thanks we have received so far, we think it was a great time for everyone! No plans as of yet for a follow-up to this event, but who knows?
We plan to post pictures up on our Facebook fan page when we get them back from the photographer.
Less than 2 Weeks until GradyFest III
We are almost there, GradyFest III is set for Friday March 23, 2012 through Saturday March 24, 2012. Final preparations are underway for the main event and a lot of fun is coming up! Hundreds of Grady Owners have already gotten their registration forms in and we have over 30 boats staying with us for the weekend! You won’t want to miss this year’s GradyFest!
Synopsis of Friday—-
Friday we will see most of our boaters and vendors arriving. Early registration bag pickup will start on Friday.
Friday afternoon there will be round-table discussions where all are welcome. Two topics of discussion are on the plan, one for cruisers and one for fishing. Clubs from around Florida and also other areas of the country will come together and share their insights and offer advise for ventures that other Grady Clubs may want to make. See how other boaters keep their boats, the docks will be filled with Grady’s from all around!
Friday night’s Docktail party (starting around 5pm) should be a smash hit with Live Music and a Raw Bar by Pincher’s Crab Shack featuring Clams, Oysters and Shrimp (Stone Crab Claws if available). Plus a bar setup with liquor, beer and wine.
Saturday’s Main events start promptly at 9AM. More details on Saturday’s schedule coming up.
GradyFest is getting close!
With less than a 7 weeks until GradyFest 3, we want to make sure everyone has their travel arrangements and accommodations secured. The Holiday Inn Ft. Myers Beach reported they were very near 100% booked and may already be now, so please make sure you get your rooms in advance.
Hats and Shirts are on order and ready to go! We will have short and long sleeved GradyFest commemorative shirts and 5 different GradyFest hats!! They look great!! All will be available for cash sales at the festival. Also, the special Grady gift for registrants at the festival looks nice.
Numerous vendors have secured space for the Festival dealing in areas such as Canvas, Boat Lifts, Detailing, Grady-White Gear, multiple marine electronics vendors (Garmin, Simrad, Raymarine), Yamaha, GPS anti-theft monitoring, marine insurance/finance, trailers, custom rods, tackle and much more!
See you there!
Registration Form is Online
The Registration forms for GradyFest III are no online! Please, send yours in ASAP so we may make proper arrangements. Also, you’ll see this throughout the website: Please make your hotel arrangements immediately so you can secure your room. The Holiday Inn has a limited number of hotel rooms blocked off for GradyFest3. Call Karla @ Holiday Inn Ft. Myers Beach.
There are a number of other places to stay on the South-end of Ft. Myers Beach, too. Something else this year, we have enhanced the Friday night venue and opened it up for more to come and not just boaters, so you may want to plan on staying Friday night in the area. It should make for a great time!
See you there!

The All-American GradyFest III – Officially Named!
We have thrown around various names and themes for what to call the new Gradyfest. In 2009, the Tarpon Coast Club called the festival the Gulfcoast Grady Fest. In 2010, we named it the All-American GradyFest… Hot Dogs, Apple Pie, and Grady-White! Well, in discussing new names, various suggestions from the Fish Tale Grady Club were given. Ultimately it was agreed that we shouldn’t change anything in the theme and we should stick with what works!
The All-American GradyFest III is scheduled for March 24, 2012.
It’s official… GradyFest 2012 Announced!
Grady Clubs from around the nation gathered at the Grady-White Boats factory in Greenville, NC this July and a big announcement was made from the Fish Tale Grady Club.
It’s official, the next GradyFest will be hosted again at Fish Tale Marina on Fort Myers Beach, FL. Dates for this event are set for March 24th, 2012 which is a perfect time of year for nice sun and beautiful South Florida weather!
So, mark the calendars and get ready, we will post more information in the coming months as plans are finalized. This is the official website for the Fest, so check back often. Hope to see you in March!
Grady Club Bahamas Trip 2010
Not related to Grady Fest, but the Grady Club that hosted the festival (Fish Tale Grady Club) left for the Bahamas June 10, 2010. In all 10 boats are headed over there out of Naples/Ft Myers and following are pictures of 8 of them leaving from Big Carlos Pass.

Vero Beach Grady Bunch is doing the “Loop”
The Grady Bunch, Vero Beach Marine’s club, will be doing the Loop and stopping for the Grady Fest. They are turning it into almost a 2 week trip with stops all along the way. The reason it’s called a loop is the trip takes you around the southern tip of Florida and back through Lake Okeechobee, hence a loop. Anyways, if you are in the Grady Bunch and haven’t yet heard about this, check out the Vero Beach Marine Website.
We look forward to seeing the Grady Bunch, whether by boat or car!
